About GikiCalc

GikiCalc is an independent set of UK tax calculators. Every rate is taken from published HMRC guidance, dated, and listed on the sources page so you can check it yourself. The calculators show their working line by line rather than returning a single figure, because on questions about money a number you cannot check is not much use. The site is built and maintained by a working accountant, is free to use, and is supported by advertising. Corrections are genuinely welcome — if a figure here does not match what HMRC says, please email and it will be fixed.
